Student Growth Outcomes

My student growth outcomes (SGO) were measured diagnostically, formatively, and summatively with a 5th grade class of 15 students. We tested the dancers ability to physically and verbally demonstrate SWING, FLEXION, and ROTATION/TWIST. The SGO's first focused on their ability to define the difference and qualities to each vocabulary word. Following this, they began to embody and improvise throughout the space using these three qualities individually. At the end of this process, each student was put into a group and assessed on their ability to perform the defined and explored criteria from the rubric.
